Beginnings
Where did you grow up?
I still haven’t! I was raised in Blairgowrie, Randburg, Johannesburg.
Where did you go to school?
I went to Blairgowrie Primary and Greenside High.
Did you study at University? If so what did you study?
I studied at WITS, doing a BComm and BComm Accounting degree and did my Higher Diploma in Tax at RAU (now University of Johannesburg).
Where have worked/do you work?
I worked at Deloitte from 1993 to 2004 and then at New Covenant Church Bryanston from 2004 to 2009 and now I am employed fulltime by LifeHouse Church as the lead elder.
Family
How did you meet your wife, Louise?
She was the girl next door.
How long have you been married?
16.5 years.
How old are your kids?
Jordan (10), Jenna (8), Dylan (4), Ella (2).
Faith
When did you become a Christian?
I got saved at age 12 – at Rhema.
Which book in the Bible has impacted you most and why?
It’s hard to say because it changes each year – Galatians, Hebrews and Romans.
Share a tough lesson you’ve had to learn in your faith?
Some people are meant for a prolonged season in a local church, others for shorter seasons. It’s hard to watch people leave when it’s time for them to move on.
Where do you hope LifeHouse Church will be in a year’s time? How might it be different from now?
Each person will have grown in their relationship with God, which translates into life all round!

Favourite holiday destination?
Marina Beach – South Coast.
Best holiday you ever had?
Louise and I travelled for 5 months around the world.
Country you would most like to visit?
There are many – these would include Greece, China and Japan.

Braveheart, Lord of the Rings.
Favourite book?
The Bible – also Michael Eaton’s No Condemnation.
Favourite restaurant?
Moyo.
Favourite meal?
Fillet Steak – Madagascan pepper sauce.
