30 Seconds with Steve

Where did you grow up?

Born and bred in Jo’burg… and love the city.

Where did you go to school?

Bryandale Primary and St Stithians College.

Did you study at University? If so what did you study?

Studied a Bsc. Physio at Wits Medical School, and then as a Doctor of Chinese Medicine through the Allied Health Professions Council of South Africa.

Where have you worked/do you work?

I have been working in my own private practice in Sandton for the last 12 years. The practice now focuses on the integration of Natural Medicine in all areas of health.

 

Family

How did you meet your wife, Helen?

At a family friend’s dinner in 1993.

How long have you been married?

11 years.

How old is your son?

Marco is 7.

Faith

When did you become a Christian?

God arrested my soul at Rhema in 1986.

Which book in the Bible has impacted you most and why?

A difficult question! Probably a close call between Romans and Galatians.

Share a tough lesson you’ve had to learn in your faith?

We are not fully yet in heaven, however my life is a channel and contact point for the Kingdom of Heaven to impact the world.

Where do you hope LifeHouse Church will be in a year’s time? How might it be different from now?

For LifeHouser’s to grow into a deeper and more intimate relationship with God. The Kingdom of God advancing with more salvations.

Three weeks in Europe with my wife Helen.

Country you would most like to visit?

Russia.

Braveheart, The Matrix.

Favourite book?

The Bible and Everlasting Assurance (Michael Eaton).

Santorini.

Favourite meal?

Rump Steak with mushroom sauce, and crispy fries.
