I would disagree and say the same in my article - this is not a doctrinal discourse but a poem passionately expressing a disdain for religion. The response is focused on a exegesis of the poem - I would challenge any preacher to exegete their preach and I am sure that we could pull it apart! Again this response misses the forest from the trees

And perhaps the biggest blessing to marriage is selfless service. Where else does one so "serve one another in love" in life? I myself often tell couples that they need to be pastors to one another -- but of course that is just one aspect of the whole. But service has great advantages, too. I lost my wife a year ago, in the prime of life, and with her loss I can see how much easier it is to be two rather than one, assuming that things are working relatively harmoniously.

Great article Bron, loved it and yes for me the fear of man is a huge area we all do battle in. We are called clearly by Jesus to not fear man but to fear God. I find it amazing in Isaiah 11 vs 2 we read how Jesus was going to be filled with the Spirit of wisdom, understanding, council, power and the key is he was filled with the Spirit of Knowledge and the fear of the Lord. Jesus walked in total humility, power, love and the fear of the Lord and was 100% reliant on God and his grace. We at LifeHouse need to step out in his faith and power and allow the Holy Spirit to use us and move through us into the local church and community. The bible tells us that we have an anointing and it is not a counterfeit, but the real deal. We have all been given a measure of faith to exercise and step out into what God has for us. Moses said to God that he knew him by name and that he had found favor with him and asked God, "Now show me your glory". There was a humility and great confidence that Moses had in God and we at Life House need to exercise that same confidence and ask God, "Show us your Glory". I am very excited for the season that Lies ahead. Keep writing Bron, it is a great gift you have.

Great article Bron! I agree! It has to start with the individual! If u have not and cannot experience God's tangible power and presence in your own life, you cannot do it corporately! Church can and should create opportunities to meet with the Holy Spirit, but it starts with us! Openness, humility, boldness and fear of God not man are qualities we need in order to truly experience God! The more affluent we get, it seems the less of these qualities we have! We should fear worldly success more than failure when it comes to God-Encounters!

What a great shirt Jordan is wearing. Isn’t it great he picked that shirt for a photo shoot. I mean talk about priorities. Kudos for Gary to raising his son right…
